Would you describe yourself as someone who is organised? What does an organised person look like? Discuss this with the person next to you and share your ideas with your tutor group.
Did you say things like:
They would have lots of pens or a nice notebook? Or was your answer more about their behaviours? They will be on time, they will remember all of their equipment?
Being organised takes effort. You need to have good routines and systems that are easy to follow.
This is what the book of Proverbs says:
‘Laziness leads to poverty; hard work makes you rich.’
If you are lazy – you will not be organised.
How can you be better organised this year? What could you do? Make a class list of ideas.
Prayer
Lord, thank you for the start of a new school year. Help me to make the most of every day. Help me to be organised so that I can learn well at school. Help me to be develop routines and systems so that I can stay organised when life gets busy. Amen
