Year 7 Open Evening
The event is for prospective Year 7 students. As part of the event, you will receive a warm welcome from the Headteacher and hear from some of our students. You will also be able to listen to a presentation about our admissions process and can speak directly with our admissions secretary if you have any queries. There will also be a tour of the school facilities where you will see many of our students engaging in a variety of activities.
Our Open Evening was on Wednesday 18 September 2024. We will publish dates for the next open evenings for Year 7 admissions in 2026 in June/July 2025.
Year 7 Open Mornings
These events are for prospective Year 7 students and their families. If you would like to see the school in action on a normal day, you are invited to attend an open morning. You will receive a warm welcome from the Headteacher and also hear all about our admissions process. There will also be a tour of the school facilities where you will see lessons taking place and students learning.
Open Mornings were on Monday 23, Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 September 2024. We will publish dates for the next open evenings for Year 7 admissions in 2026 in June/July 2025.

Please remember that you must apply to your Local Authority. If you are applying as a church or other faith applicant, you must also apply to the School.

In addition to applying to your Local Authority, you must complete our School Supplementary Form, if you are applying as a church or other faith applicant, even if you have a child currently at the school.

Year 7 Admissions Guidance Notes
Please contact the Admissions Secretary Mrs Botting for advice on whether you need to submit the Supplementary Form to us or for any help with completing it. Mrs Botting can be contacted on 0117 3772100 (extension 218) or by email.
We use an admissions website (Admissions+) to process the supplementary form. The closing date for applications for entry to Year 7 in September 2025 was midnight on 31 October 2024.
