Subject Mentors, Transition Mentors and Tutor Reps
In additional to the Senior Students and those running clubs and societies a significant number of Year 13 students volunteer their time to support Year 12 students in their learning and well-being. These include:
Transition Mentors: representatives from each of our feeder secondary schools who are available at the start of the year to help you handle the differences between your old school and this one.
Subject Mentors: representatives from each subject who love the subject and may be considering studying it at university, who will run help sessions during the year, share things they find that are interesting, and support specific year 12 students who need help getting to grips with the subject.
Tutor Group Mentors: members of a tutor’s Year 13 group who will come and visit their Year 12 tutor group at particular points of the year to talk through the stresses and strains of processes like preparing for exams and thinking about university or work beyond school.
