Careers and Progression
'As Enterprise Advisor to St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School I’m delighted we’ve been able to form a partnership. This has enabled us to utilise volunteering opportunities within the firm to provide more resource to support the school’s careers programme including more employer engagement opportunities across all ages and a mentoring scheme.'

Partnership with the University of Bristol
We have close links with the University of Bristol, a top-ten UK University (QS World University Rankings 2020). Many year 12 and year 13 students participate in the programmes such as Access to Bristol and Pathways to Health Science programmes every year. Students attend a series of sessions on Wednesday afternoons during the autumn or spring term. The sessions give an idea of what it is like to study at the University of Bristol, working with academics and current students who can offer advice and guidance about higher education and their subject area.
Their full range of support programmes can be found here: https://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/outreach/post-16/
All students with a Bristol postcode are guaranteed an offer from Bristol and for all SMRT students this will be at a reduced level (“contexualised offer”).
Additionally, St Mary Redcliffe and Temple is able to nominate students for the Bristol Scholars programme which offers students the opportunity to take part in a range of outreach activities, receive free academic tutoring and be eligible for financial support and a further reduced offer.
