Have a chat with those around you. How organised do you feel at the start of this school year?

Being organised is a really important skill that we all need to take responsibility for. Benjamin Franklin once said, ‘By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.’  This has a lot of truth to it. Some of us find it quite easy to be organised, but it can be harder for some of us too.

Spend a moment listing some qualities of an organised person.

However, even if we are the most organised person, we will face moments of uncertainty and find ourselves in situations which we are unprepared for.  Have you experienced this?

So, my advice for this year… in all things… Trust God.

God is far more than just an organised person we can rely on; he is the one who holds all the universe in his hands. He holds it all together. You can trust that he’s got it in control.

Do you find it easy to trust God? Listen to this song for a moment and reflect quietly on this. If you want to, spend a moment praying and talk to God – ask him to help you learn to trust him a bit more each day.
