We all contribute to our school community in so many different ways.

How do you contribute? 

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

Have you represented the school in some way? 

Is contribution also about helping each other and sharing what  you have?

Have a class discussion about some of the ways that you can contribute to the school community? 

What would happen if no-one contributed anything to the school community?  Would we even have a community?

There is a verse in the Bible that says,

“If you have two shirts, share with the person who does not have one. If you have food, share that also.^{Luke 3:11}

It is great to share food, but what else could you share with each other?

As you watch this film, think about what you can do to contribute more to our school community:

Prayer,

Father God, thank you for the many opportunities to contribute to our school, our wider community and beyond. Remind me that I have an important part to play in my school community and to value the contributions of others. We remember Your promise that You have given each of us individual and unique gifts to contribute for the good of others.  Give me a courage, to contribute to our school community, leading by example with confidence and grace. Empower me to be Your steward and to play my part in looking after our world and each other.  Amen.
