We Value Faith 2

Weekly Worship from Chaplain Josh.

This week, we’re exploring our ALIVE Value, ‘We value faith.’

Have a quick discussion with the following question. ‘How do you express your faith or beliefs in your life?’

As a school, we value the freedom of expressing faith and celebrate this in our community. We encourage all of you to express your faith and beliefs in our school community.

We all express our beliefs, passions and personal faith differently.

Let’s hear from some people about how they express their faith, or as they put it, their ‘love of God.’

We can express our faith in many creative ways. We are all unique in our expressions of faith. Although we may express the same faith as others, we do so in the diversity of our unique contributions.

How can you express your faith? With your skills, qualities and opportunities to do so? Spend time talking with those around you.

Set yourself the challenge of finding a creative way to express your faith this week.

Let’s finish with a poem:

In the beginning, whispers of light,

God shaped the stars in the gloomy night.

With gentle hands, He sculpted the land,

Painted the skies with a masterful hand.

From the clay of the earth, He breathed life anew,

Gifted us vision, imagination's breakthrough.

Within our souls, He planted a seed,

A spark of creativity, to meet every need.

With brush and with pen, in dance and in song,

We honour His glory, where we belong.

Every stroke of colour, every note in the air,

Is a testament of love, a sacred prayer.

For in our creations, His presence we see,

A reflection of heaven, vast and free.

Let our art be an offering, a divine decree,

In worship, our spirits forever set free.
