Measurable Equality Objectives
The school believes that Educational Inclusion is about equal opportunities for all learners, whatever their age, gender, demographic group, ethnicity, additional needs, attainment and background. The school has identified the following equality objectives.
1. For SEND and Pupil Premium students to achieve grades 9-4 in English and Mathematics, Attainment 8 and Progress 8 in line with the national average for all students.
2. To ensure the school's commitment to equality and diversity is evident in the learning experiences of our students through the development of the "We Value Justice and Respect" curriculum.
3. For Post-16 SEND and previously Pupil Premium students to be retained on courses and progress to appropriate destinations in comparable proportions to the overall cohort.
4. To increase the level of pupil voice through student working groups on gender, ethnicity and sexuality alongside the school council group.
